  2. Nice guys thanks for the fast replies, really helpful..

(Sorry for the typing error) I have the eccentric weld slotted washers from ireland engineering california which should help with the inside ware

I have 17" mags, and bilstein shortened shocks( they ant in the car as of yet till i get the right recipe haha)

ive also sent aye message to 'suspension'

Also any ideas on spring bands and would super lows would do the trick??

  3. Hey guys

Im wanting to lower my e30 1986 318 pre face model. I've searched around in our forum and looked at a few posted messages, but the info is mainly for the face lift models, due to there back guards been lower than the pre face model..

I was going to put some bilstien coil overs in, but apparently i have to do some major adjustments to the back strut towers.. is that true?? (keeping in mind that im only using it for personal use)

I also purchased aye camber kit from ireland engineering to correct the camber when i lower the car, i havent put the kit on yet until i sort my suspension out..

Would super lows put my back guard just under the wheel?? Help please..

if so what brands of spring would be the best?? Im putting bili shorten shocks in reguard less

    HELP Please

  4. e30tech.com forums

Mopps wicked mate, thanks for the mad info!! Thats impressive man! love the raw-ness of your work ethics, Jelousy and soft words from those that probably find the merry go round terrifying aye?? I must say that sounds like alot of work.. ive just completed all the panel, paint, interior, exterior mods going to post on the club site once finished, But making sure to keep it BMW classi-ness, with aye dumped out Nasty Look! I may not have the turbo by that stage when i do post in projects.. The engine i have is a 318m10 1986 in peices at the mechanics, been rebuilt.. I had asked if the mechanic could do the turbo, but he was honest enuff to tell me that he was unable to do so. he just rebuilds and services.. top mechanic though highly recomended Sherson Autos: Steve Sherson(tauranga).. Once again thanks for the insight, ill keep intouch mate

  5. It really doesn't help that the site's search engine won't do a 3 letter/number search.

Plenty of info here. Note that Mike has some decent fabrication skills which saves heaps...

    http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....58&hl=turbo

Thanks guys! I think talking too the mechanic is the best step, he has had my motor for the last 12 months. I 've got him to rebuild it, its all in peices at the moment. And now im having thoughts of adding a turbo in the mix. im sure with it all apart, its going to make things alot easier, i hope!

  6. Hey Mate, If they are on trademe i m pretty sure this is the same people i got my lights through aswell , i had no problems with them and would recomend them, the only safe method of this transaction taking place is buying them via a credit card and if your not happy with the service or product you can complain and visa with take action, i had no problems with them though, Eurolights is it???

Wicked mate thanks for your reply..Sorry it took me a while to respond, i've been a sick lad. your definately right about Euro Lights. I will take your advice and contact them, hopefully they still have them..

    Cheers Humz :D

  7. hey everyone just wondering what price range is the 1986 e30 angel eyes in???, ive been offered aye pair for $500NZ + postage, from aye AU seller on trademe, is that reasonable????. the other problem is, they haven't advertised the product for auction. I had asked them through a page where they were selling other bmw lights. they are 100% positive feed back with over 300 replys, but they are worried if they advertise them that i will miss out on the buy, is there a safe method for this transaction to take place???

  8. Would also pay to check the spring rates as they are propably more JDM orientated

hey dude if i remember correctly you were pointing out my spelling and grammer errors lol (probably!!)

Time to reflect on your own spelling & grammer mate

anyway Merry Christmas & Happy New Years Mc Lovin, Drive sideways but safely to you and all the bimmersport club members

    Humz aka D'mesnja :rolleyes::rolleyes:

  9. I meant search this site.

The link McLovin gave (bmw2002.com) sells the eccentric bushes etc. Good stuff.

Thanks Bravo! I thought as much, cheers mate. I rang jeff at ireland engineering in california.. im definately purchasing the equipment needed to complete my ride and to enhance the classy european style correctly.

  10. You need to install either offset trailing arm bushes, or adjustable camber links. Neither are particularly cheap, but you will save your tyres.

Do a search on here for both and you should get some hits.

The front won't be too bad, but if you are concerned you can get top camber plates - again, not cheap.

hey mate thanks for your prompt reply, should i search on this sight or net?? my car is thy m10 /1986 e3o. would camber plates & off set trailer arm bushes work still??
