Hey guys, Am getting my standard springs compressed soon in my 97 316i e36 sedan as ive just put my rims on (only 18z) and want to know if anybody knows someone to remove my springs and then fit them again after the compressing has been done. I dont want to be paying heaps and heaps but open to all options? Also how long does the compressing take?And how much can i compress them max and still stay captive? Will have to get picks up of the car soon too lol! Cheers guys, Adam.

Hey all im causing a bit of confusion with this post. My sideskirts and bumpers are the same colour as the car already(blue). I was meaning the little strips that go horizontally (about a third of the way up) on all the doors and around the whole car. They are about 40mm wide roughly. Sorry haha should of made it clearer.

Hey all, Wanting to get my E36 colour coded. Like paint the plastic strips accross the doors the same colour of my car. And those plastic strips that go across the front and back bumpers (as they are all black and my car is blue). Anybody know a good place to get them painted and roughly how much itill cost? Cheers!

Hi guys, Just currently finishing purchasing my car audio for my 97 e36 316i sedan and am wanting to know what component speakers will ACTUALLY FIT in the kick panels in the front of my car. Im particularly worried about the mounting depth.And i think i read on a post that 5.25 inch fit perfectly so am wanting to know about components that are priced $200-$300, that go loud and clear and that are a good quality brand. I was looking at the Rockford Fosgate P162S components priced at 260.00 but now do not seem to be on the parallel imported website now. Any info appreciated. Thanks, Adam.

Hi guys, I've got a 316i 1997 (e36 4-door) and i went to get a wof and they failed my lower ball joints. So i need to get them replaced for new ones and wanting to know if anybody knows of a good place to get them done. Obviously going to go with the best price.I'm situated in Botany so dont want to be travilling to the shore or anything haha. Thanks guys, Adam.

Yeh i want the 19z but only if they gonna fit aye he said he would get back to me what the offset of the 19z were but now the auction is gone??? Hopefully it gets relisted so i can find out the info i need to, to see if they will fit.Will go into see mag and tire directs range when i get some time too.

Hey guys, Just wanting to know if either these mags will fit on my 97 e36 sedan. My car is blue and think these will look all good. I will be lowering it to around 80mm off the ground so want to know if these will fit...prefer 19z over the 18z listed but i dont know if the will fit without rubbin' and if the offset right ive read on here that 35 offset is the best?? Okay cheers, Do you think that running 400rms to each one of my 380rms subs? If you could post a few links from parrellel imported for some possible options for an amp to run the RF components well ($250 or under)? Much appreciated for all the advice and tips!

Oh my subs are 380rms and my amp runs 2ch bridges 400rms each is that all good i was told it was.

Thanks, um what you think about pioneers components etc. I will probs be looking between 200 and 350 for the fronts and another amp roung 250-300 . I just want a well known brand (such as pioneer,rockford fosgate, soundstream etc) that will fit into the kick panels of my e36... i think they 5.25inch max will fit i think i read some where. So basically brand and codes so i can browse the possible options then go buy some haha. my subs are 380rms. But if ud rather i could go browse parrallel import site if you can just confirm the max size of the speakers the kick panels in my e36 can take and ill get at you with the link etc? Then ill pick the amp to suit... cheers.

Cheers Bravo, So you recoomend using my 6x4's for the rear so i dont cut the parcel tray and sell the 6x9's and get a good set of fronts? Can you reccomend some good quality fronts,tweeters,crossovers etc, that will fit in hassle free in my e36 kick panels? Anything on trademe at the moment? I have a 2ch amp tht runs 300wrms each channel (bridged) to my subs. That will take care of my subs...but you're sayin i need another amp for my fronts? Can you suggest another amp that would be good with the fronts you reccomend? And two amps in my car will run fine? And one last thing is it neccesary for a capacitor? if so 1.5 farad any brand all good there a few on trademe atm?

Yeah ive got tweeters and 6x9s...i also got a pair of 6x4's but they will never fit in the kick panels so im probably gonna sell them and get ones that will. dont you think the tweeters and 6x9's will be enough with my two subs?what size speakers will fit in kick panels if i need some? 5.25?

Hey guys, Just wanting peoples opinions on good car audio installers (that are around Botany Downs, Manukau etc area) that dont charge an arm and a leg for installing my new sound system.Had a few mates install previous sound systems but fully not worth it in my experience so far anyway. I have got 2xsubs, amp,wiring kit, tweeters, headunit,sub box, capacitor, ive also got a pair of 6x9's for the rear. I know e36s arent made for 6x9s but thats what i want in the rear... Any tips/advice on all this would be great. I dont want shiz feedback just posts from guys wanting to help. Cheers.
