imo v4's are better than v5 but then again I have the v4, install is easy plug and play, i grabbed the aircon relocation frame to move the controls down to where the sunglass holder is. One thing to watch out for is once you have the unit in make sure you ground the actual unit to a solid earth or you can get noise interference.
Thanks M-spec.

I am ordering from PrestigeAudio, but they are selling only the Version 4s. Any big difference between Version 4s and 5s?
Appreciate comments also on self-installs. Do you need to replace the bezel on the ACU? Source?

Guys
Did some cleaning on my 99 e46, particularly on the headlights. Disassembled the headlights, disconnected all terminations, removed the lights and removed the headlight assembly for cleaning. After cleaning assembly (no water seepage inside, used vacuum cleaner), restored the assembly, lights and connectors. The front panel indicated that the lights on the highs were blown, but they still work. Lights still go up and down, fully functional low and high, turn signal and parklight.
I was thinking could be I mistakenly swapped the highs with the lows, but I checked that again and looks normal.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Need Help!
From the DIY on the web a lot of the available material are for LHD. When I opened up my ECU ther is no ACC trigger wire color coded red and white with yellow/gold dots.
Have seen posts that the actual trigger wire is color coded green?
Could someone verify what is the correct wire? Maybe a schematic for an e46 318i 1999?
Also, I have seen installation for the remote trigger via the footwell lights, but I dont have any on the car. Any suggestions for an alternative wiring for the remote? Schematic, procedure......
Thanks a lot!
