Hi Guys, I have an M5 (F10) 2012, my stop start feature doesn’t seems to work. A common suggestion on google search suggests charging the battery. Could anyone recommend the best charger to use on my car? Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, after some advice please. I have a e60 530i msport - (the one that is factory lowered) It currently has the 18" factory msport wheels and my tyres are 245/40/18 on front and rear. I am looking at buying the 19" m5 wheels on trade me. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...amp;permanent=0 could you please help me work out what size tyres I need to fit on these to ensure there is no rubbing etc. I'm not in to fender rolling etc. Cheers Sam

I opened the key although it's not designed to be opened. The battery is soldered in? anyone changed the battery?

Hi, I have an e38 01. The remote part of my keys have died, as in the buttons to lock and unlock no longer work. It has been a gradual death as they were working on and off, but now stopped. I have tried the initailisation procedure, I know they have to come from bmw ex Germany. Has anyone tried to claim replacement under mechanical warranty? My warranty is with the AA, they have been really good so far. Cheers Sam

Hi All, i looked through the sticky at the top pf the section as to what key memory options there are. can you only set\customize these via a dealer, or is there away to set these up myself? An example would be getting my heater/ac to stay off when i start my car using my key, my wifes key keeps the heater off. Cheers in advance.

Hi I know i might get some stick for wanting to do this as I know it is a saftey feature, but I would like to enable the tv in my 2001 728i to work while in motion. Anyone know how this is done, I have seen some posts of using button on the nav screen to do this but this does not work with my year and or version.

Hi, probably a question for Glenn at Botny Motorworx, I have a 2001 728, it has the vanos oil feed line weeping at the lower end, also possibly the sump gasket is leaking oil as well. Could you please give me an indication of the cost to get these issues fixed. Thanks in Advance.

Hi I have a 728i 2001 E38 two issues: 1. One of the keys does not work to lock and unlock the doors. I dont think it is working at all. I have tried re-initialise it but that did do anything. Do I have to get this from the dealer, or can I go aftermarket somewhere. 2. The key that does work is set to move the seats, mirror etc to a certain position, but it is tailored to the old owner, how can I change this to suit me?
