Hi All For those out there that might be interested in an E39 Motorsport. Both are genuine Motorsport models and in fantastic condition. November 1999 525i, 65000km http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=156006970 2000 528i, 74000km http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=156012233 Cheers

Yeah thats my 525i M Sport. Gunna sell that one too, would like to get an 03 E39 M Sport. The wife drives around in a 3.0l 4x4 and chews through the gas running the kids around etc. Am thinking of getting her a 320 wagon to run around in, that way I can justify a 540 perhaps.

Cheers... Will put up more pic's in the for sale thread in the next couple of days, soon to be on TM also. As Fai+h777 pointed out the bonnet badge was starting to delaminate so I peeled it off. Getting the Jerry Clayton boys to put a new one on when they have it for service.

Mackt sure I can't tempt you with this 2000 528 M-Sport, 74000km. Has the black suede interior with silver titanium trim. Just spent the weekend cleaning it up and car is off to Jerry Clayton BMW this week for a service and check over. Not yet registered so the buyer will be first NZ owner. As mentioned in my previous post, imported it myself so am selling it cheap for a quick sale Interested?

I agree Yuen, I had leather in my last car which does look nice and is easily cleaned especially with young kids. But if you don't look after it can start looking a bit shabbie. I have alcantara in my present car and am very happy with it... looks nice, hard wearing and cleans up well. Centres aren't cloth though, seem to be another sort of synthetic material. Not too sure what its is though

Not with the facility I use, most auction houses have slightly different spec's

Don't mean to poo poo the bmw brand, but if you are seriously looking at a luxury 4 x 4 I suggest you have a look at the Jeep Grand Cherokee (if you havn't already). I compared them both a few years ago and ended up getting a jeep. The top end jeep model rang rings around the X5 and at half the price, from the interior space and leather finish to handling on and off road not to mention fuel consumption. Now with the new Hemi engine it's even better I think. The jeep beat the X5 and Range Rover as top lux 4x4 the last few years running. Anyway this is only my humble opinion.

Mackt I have a year 2000 528i motorsport arriving from Japan this week if you are interested. It is silver with 75000km on the clock, black suede interior and all the usual motorsport extra's. It was an auction grade 4 out of 5, 5 being as new condition. I brought 2 cars , 1 for myself and 1 to on sell so can do a really sharp price. Can email you pic's if your interested.

Am getting around 480 - 500km out of a tank driving around town. OBC currently telling me I'm travelling 7.2km per litre.

Currently driving a 525i m sport and thinking of upgrading to a 528i or 530i motorsport after reading some reviews that rave about them. Wondering though what sort of fuel consumption around town I could expect from the larger engine. Any info would be much appreciated
