Hi all, New to bmws, and am after some advice of things to check out. Am looking at picking up a 540i Touring here in Canada (originally from NZ), most likely an E39. Just wondering if anybody knows of any specific areas to check over, common things that go wrong with the E39s/540i. Also, are coilovers readily available for wagons? (or are they leafs in the rear) - as the plan is; Lowering it Drug dealer tints 7 Series wheels Sounds Done. Daily driver only and a car to get me and the boys up Whistler and Grouse in the winter.
