Hi everyone, I've had a search but didn't find what I was after, so just wondering if anyone here has managed to find a DVD head unit for E46 which charges/controls iPhone 5 via the head unit itself? Found a tonne of units which work with iPhone 4 but I'm reluctant to try any with a lightning adapter in case it doesn't work. Ideally I'd like to dock my iPhone via a spec dock, I reckon it's the cleanest looking dock out. Cheers

The main housing can stay in the car, you just need to replace the front part with the glass. Theres 5 or 6 clips in total (3 on the top, 2 or 3 on the bottom), you'll need to take off your bumper to get to the bottom clips (or you can remove the entire headlight) and then that whole front piece just slides out and can be replaced. A bit tedious but fairly easy to do. Good luck

yeah maybe the lights simply had it. im sure i recall seeing the light at some stage. cheers mate

hey guys, my 1996 328i just failed its warrant because of this. any ideas on what it could be? ive heard of quite a few incidents where they dont turn off, but mine doesnt turn on at all. any tips? cheers.

i had the exact same problem on my car (minus windscreen), but i payed only $120 at tint magic to get them legal.

anyone know of somewhere in wellington who can offer a good price? or should i just go with the old baseball bat trick....?

the 6by9s would look alot better mounted flush with the parcel tray. itl only be a matter of time until you get pulled up by the cops for obscured vision. and i couldnt even get a warrant with my roof mounted dvd screen.

hi all. owned this car about 5months now, changed a few things on it but still pretty stock standard. thinking about getting a new body kit or at least painting out the factory kit in the mean time. any recommendations on other mods? cheers.
