  1. The back of the race car has adjustable spring perches still in the trailing arm and it's wound almost right to the top and it's lower than your car is. Can find the spring rates if you want. It rides hard as sh*t but it doesn't get driven on the road, well it hardly gets driven at all to be fair. Ha.

What brand suspension is in that? That would be awesome if you could let me know spring rate etc

  2. Quite stiff in the back because of the shorter springs, dampers in the rear wound down soft to help traction. Overall the car is quite rigid but haven't noticed any bounce, but I don't drive it around town either.

I guess that's to be expected. I will only really use mine in the weekends so being quite rigid has got to be better than what I have to deal with at the moment. I often hit bump stops

Hey guys this is my e30. I know it's a fairly sensitive topic but I've recently done a sr20det conversion on her.

So I went in for a cert check on Friday and unfortunately it's sitting a tad low in the front for their liking so rather than buying a new set of springs I've decided to bite the bullet and go to adjustable suspension! Now I know BC gold are great I've run them in many of my vehicles the problem I had with my e46 though is I could never get it sitting low enough in the back and I really don't want this problem with the e30.

A lot of you are probably thinking it's too low as it is and should be raised and that's fine but I built it to suit my taste not yours ;)
