  1. Thanks guys! I've actually dropped my price to $5,500 as I found out I need to get new tyres to renew the WOF which expires next week.

Please let me know if anyone is keen to buy as I wouldnt want to rip anyone off and that's why I lowered the price due to the cost of tyres. Just got bullshitted around by Autoking car sales in Manurewa, they were keen on buying my car even asked me to bring it around and then never got back to me...total slackers and then said they could sell it at a higher price if they sold it on behalf of me.

So please guys, no bullshitters. If anyone is keen on this car contact me on 021969599. Its a good deal I just really want to purchase a auto beemer for now.

    cheers.

  2. This is a lovely car and well maintained with a leather interior. Bought it about 2 years ago and love the burgandy colour and its 19inch wheels which really stand out and looks different to any other BMW hatchback on the road. It has a carbon fibre front lip, custom kit as you can see from the back and sides and has eyelids on the headlights to finish it off. It has 174kms and thats the main reason why im selling it for only 6K.

Drives well and would be ideal for someone who loves to drive a manual. Excellent car as BMW manuals are hard to find.

Give me a text on 021969599 if you are interested.

Only reason to sell is to upgrade and change back to a automatic BMW as its easier to drive in traffic into town everyday.

    Cheers.

  3. We have 19" tyres in stock starting from $169 fitted and balanced. They are a pretty cheap option and really would recommend spending more and getting a better quality tyre! let me know if you would like me to quote you some pricing

    cheers

    Johno

PS I presume you are running 215/35/19's?

At the moment cheap would be good but quality will be better in the long run. My current wheels are 225/35ZR19 low profile. Could you do some quotes on the same?

    cheers.

  4. Only the factory space saver will fit in the tyre bay on a 316 or 318TI. Otherwise you will have to carry it in the boot and you wont have any room for shoes & handbags. Besides that it wont be secure either, and that is a WOF fail.

Edit: You sure you havent already got a spare ?? It fits under the car, not in the boot.

oooo ' no room for shoes and handbags?' good one :P I actually don't use my boot as a wardrobe... But thanks for letting me know the spare is kept under the car. Even my guy friends didnt know that...and there was no spare :)

  5. Hey :)

I'm in need of a spare tyre to keep in the back on the boot as I need to get my WOF renewed asap and hoping to not pay that much...I've also got 19inch wheels so Im not sure on what size spare to get?? Any ideas? I thought a 17 one would be good just to keep for emergencies.

While im posting, anyone know where I can get some new or second hand 19inch tyres? I'm looking at replacing 2 at the moment as some have worn out a bit and know that they cost quite a bit. Anyone know of any good places to go?

    Thanks!

  6. Hey guys, Im not even offended about the silly comments, most people often cant even pronounce my name.

You were spot on Glen, I am South African and I was named after my dad Theo, so I use that name too sometimes.

Anway... seems like Simon has way too much time on his hands :P jokes!

I dont mean to offend, however, critiscism, and making fun of a persons given name, which they never had a choice off making , I find distastefull and not warranted.

I actually like the name Theola.. it sort of roles on the tongue.

    BTW. Theola...welcome to our forum

This name is a handme down from father to daughter. A tradition in alot of European & South African families and alot of "English" families

    Father:......Daughter:

    Theo.........Theola

    Micheal......Michelle

    Noel..........Noelene

    William......Willamena

    Glenn........Glenda

    Philip.........Philipa

I just wonder would Simon call his daughter:

    Siminella ??

    Siminize ??

    Simple ??

Or just say .... honey you choose a friggen name ??

    :P

  7. Haha thanks, good to know there's no predators! :P

I'm proud of my BMA and like showing it off :) I would be keen to meet up for drives ... and I'll be bringing my boy with me :)

    Welcome aboard

You put a pic of yourself up with the car so I'm gonna say what all the boys are growling about

You look HOT :) Nice car too

It's a great site and unlike others, not too full of predators so you're among friends here.

    Be safe and have fun

    Cheers!

    Si

Oh and by the way all the Auckland boys will be hoping you turn up to the Thursday night drinkies sometime to show off your car

  8. Yeah when i first got the car I had to have both windows fixed cos they wouldnt wind up and down properly. Cost me $600 and then I still had issues with it. Apparently my model is known for having window problems...

Whenever i have any issues now I take it straight to my bf's uncle cos his a mechanic, cheapest rates ever :)

Same reason I joined! Although I still haven't figured out where I should get my car serviced. Cheapest thing to do would be just to figure out how to service it yourself I suppose... very economical in the long run! Never really liked the colour burgundy on cars, but I think it looks good on bmers!

  9. Awesome!! Your seats look so good!! Ive been trying to get around and look for a place to restore my tan colour seats. But now I can just do it the budget way! :) Is there any luck in finding that product around Botany area. Did you get it from a shoe store?

  10. Hey all :)

I thought its about time I join a BMW forum, maybe get some good advice on how to maintain my car :) Since BMA's are so expensive to maintain, esp when you're getting ripped off by European mechanics!! (I learnt the hard way).

Bought my BMW off a friend last year, didnt actually know how to drive manual before buying it but learnt as I went along. I love this car now, used to have a krappy mazda before but so loving BMAs right now, such class!

Anyways Im keen to hear about and see some good bmws on this site and glad im a member now:)

    See ya!
