We have just had my wife's 87 E30 2 door painted. The sunroof was removed and since then it drips under hard rain. How can we fix this or more importantly, would a new seal do the trick and where can we get one??? Cheers

Hello everyone
I'm kinda new to this whole scene but since I'm the proud owner of a BMW I thought that a few well informed friends with similar interests is always a good thing to have.
Myself - just looking for a car that's fun to drive, fun to be in and hopefully easy to maintain. I live in Wellington so any leads for good shops, parts and fun places to go for a drive will always be welcomed.
The car - an E36 328is, manual (of course) ... first one I've personally seen
See you around the bend.
Welcome...good to see a Wellington member. You'll love the forum and nice ride.

Hi there all,
I have had a 1976 635csi for the last 10 years and it has been mothballed for the last few of those. Have just moved to Tauranga and am going to take it apart and get it sorted to hopefully enter in some racing somewhere.
i would like to get some help with options of what i can do to the car and where it could possibly be raced in the future.
I love the car and will never part with it, and it is time to get it roaring again.

Howdy all,
Just bought my self a 79 635csi 5 speed manual. I have always wanted one sence they were new whenI was at school. Guess it took a while. This one needs a little work but the body is in pretty good shape. Its lowered a bit and has standard rims. New 16 inch ones have been ordered and possably a later model air dam ( anyone have one?) will go on if I can find one. Otherwise I will leave it alone for a while. Would like to upgrade the suspension and engine just to make it a bit faster. 300 or so hp will do. This will need to wait untill i finish my other project, 500 hp v8 datsun 260z targa car. Looking forward to chatting to other like minded people.
Cheers, Douglas (AKA ZROSSA)
Welcome to Bimmer...have only just joined myself and the resources and info' every day are just great. Have a 87 635csi manual which I pranged some weeks ago. Your car should already be fast, however if you can gain more, would be good to know what you did and if you get hold of front and rear parts and don't need, let me know. cheers

Any vehicle imported (first registered) after 1 jan 1991 must have a high stop lamp fitted.
If your car is is older than a '91 and was nz-new or imported before then, then you don't have to have the light.
Welcome...great forum for us new members and love the car
