Have a look at the back of the head. Theres a plastic water outlet there. It'll probably be leaking slightly and evaporating on the block or the exhaust. If you cant find the leak, pressure test it or get professional help before it all turns to custard on you.

BTW..they also leak in the same area with the headgasket too, at the back, just below the same plastic fitting

Job done...all fixed... wasnt an easy one either. Our locksmith normally charges $240 + GST to do this if you call him. Thats why I dont give his number out. Cheaper to get it done through me.

No it can be fixed. We get our locksmith to do them all the time. Its a broken pin in the end of the barrel
