Yeah DIN65, I get a pretty good deal on Endurant. Out of interest I checked out the dealer - double the price.Is it worth scanning the computer for a fault? Is this a dealer thing or can most Euro specialists do this?

Hi, Just started having trouble with the factory alarm going off more often than it should, certainly more than it ever did. I'm thinking this might be an indication to replace the car battery? I know that the factory indicator on the batt shows as 'black spot'. Anyone got any clues?

Still new to this... I am having what I think is a similar problem. My outside temp reading has dimmed and looks to also have dimmed part of the odometer display (this is on an E39, instrument display). Is the fix for this similar to what you have discussed? I'm pretty good with the mechanical side of things, but electrical scare me a little. Are you in Wellington at all? if not, is this something that most competant electricians could handle?

This forum has prompted me to become a member.I have just bought an E39 and have similar problems with front woofer. I'm dying to get stuck into the job of sorting it out. First thing I want to sort out is; Do you have to disconnect the battery to disable the airbag, or is it not really an issue? Book says disconnect but I have had different opions. Cheers
