Driving along yesterday and when i went to accelerate from a standstill the car began shuddering quite severely and moving slowly before picking up and working fine at higher speeds. This happened a few times and now the car is shuddering whenever i turn it on and doesn't seem to be picking gears correctly. Will be taking it to a mechanic soon but was just hoping some1 on here can troubleshoot my problem and tell me what it is and how much to fix.

The entire back left light is out indicator and reverse light included. No idea why. Checked all my fuses and they all seem to be fine. For a short while my front left indicator was also not working. My car is a 1988 318i

Ive read that if you leave the money sitting there for like 5 mins that it automatically takes it back in. Ringing the bank or whatever bank owns the atm should sort that out. Although bad luck if its been taken

Actually i was thinking about transferring from state to NAC since the excess that state charges is ridiculous. But with the aforementioned problems of claiming from them is it worth it?

Does anyone have any 1st hand experience dealing with NAC?

I lent my friend my 1988 e30 for a couple of hours. He said that when he got to the gas station he had a problem getting the gas hatch open however when i got it back the central locking was screwed. The 2 left doors dont unlock at all from the inside or using the key. And the back right door doesnt lock at all. Any ideas?

JUST REMEMBER: Owning this car is like having a smoking hot girlfriend, she may cost you a bit more from time to time. BUT is heaps more FUN and a way better RIDE!

Now that is a keeper

Basically the K+N stuff is a primer with flex aid added. The flex aid drops are what auto refinishers use to allow the paint to flex, and expand/contract at different temps/rates to what steel does. Stops the paint cracking and looking like sh*t after about a month. You dont really need to sand your bumpers (most have a textured finish that's a prick to sand properly), just make sure you get it extremely clean with prepsol and a tack rag, even do this a few times!

If i got a colour match spray can would it also contain the flex aid?

So would doing what brams suggested with the plastic adhesion primer along with the colour match spray paint come out alright or would it definitely be best to take it to a panel beater

is there a noticeable difference between the colour of your bumper and the diamondschwartz colour?

any prep work required? Or just spray it straight on?
