    Well replaced the rocker cover gasket today, (Thanks Gavin of euro-italian much better price and good communication well done.) used a bit of hylomar sealant watered down with acetone and applied with a small brush to the head side, had fun with the back 2 rocker bolts hard to get at, but it is all together now ran out of light so will have fun replacing the sparkplug wires coil pack and heat sheild tomorrow. not a lot of room to get at it ..... All good tho sucess!

    Hi all, was wondering what the consensus was on a good place to buy parts, i recently priced a valve cover gasket (m42)at my local parts place, $125 seemed a tad dear to me.... can any one sugest a good place to buy from? online would be good.

  4. Great bikes the pd would be good for covert camping whilst touring, the rs can be a handful in sand dont ask how i know! If BMW made lawnmowers i have one.......

Centre stand bushes need replacement i keep a good eye on the tightness of the nuts could be embarrassing if they got too loose. on the list to do along with camchain and octopus diode board earthing upgrade recently replaced the front rotors with cast iron, HH pads ans goodrich s/s braided lines..... it stops now...... yes and a toaster tan top brace made the biggest improvements Dunno about the screen bit tall for me keeps ya dry as but gasping for a bit of air in hot weather i see now why the r/ts have air vents.

  7. Hi, I'm Ian and I'm a BMW-aholic. Recently purchased a '93 318is coupe for Shirl, the missus... but I like it too much and seem to drive it more than she does. I guess I'm hooked. To compensate Shirl, sometimes I take her for a drive to her favourite coffee and liqueur place, and on sunny days, we go for a blast on the BMW bike (1981 R100RS). Woohoo! Will post more photo's very very soon.
