There's no need to brake test someone, just install a push buttoin switch on the dash that operates the brake lights.....I've given many an a**hole undie stains with that one and as for queue jumpers I personally have forced many over the years off off ramps when they try that s**t.

I always figure my car isn't worth much so no loss if they hit it.....works every time.

I've also seen a guy speed up to 135 in a passing lane to prevent me from passing him (even though he was sitting at 90 most of the trip) and had his little kid in the front seat with no seatbelt on.......

The problem is that healthcare is not an optional part of the "package". If you want union (teamsters) workers you HAVE to provide healthcare (which is very expensive). And you company is ostracized and picketed if you don't use union workers so you have no choice. How would you like to be forced to provide healthcare and dental to your emplyees (wether you can afford it or not) or be bullied until you do provide it.

Might pay to go and check out both Pick-A-Part's. My mates car was stolen and he found it there a 3 weeks later. Still had the chassis plate on it.

Common engine upgrade for brits as its quite small. Troublesome tho when it breaks.

I would suggest you pull the inlet manifold off and replace ALL of the coolant hoses underneath it, as it can be a real bas**rd to do once the motor is in and plumbed up.

You may find that bonnet isn't legal in NZ due to the way it obscures the headlights.

And I think you'll find genuine angel eyes are in excess if $1000 each.

I remember a few years back, a mate of mine's Legacy had a CV joint implode while he was driving - gave him a hell of a fright - almost threw him of the road, which when I drove the car - I could imagine. Phoned me thinking his car had fallen apart, I went & rescued him & car - to find the drivers front CV had imploded. This was at that stage a well maintained car albeit with a split boot.

No, torn C.V boots aren't a fail yet and all our cars go to VTNZ.

Also all Subaru's are CHRONIC for boots tearing and c.v. joints disintegrating. Not always in that order either.

They are common as mud repair to suby's.

Place in east tamaki does clamps for them too......BIG clamps, the proper ones not girly little hose clamps.

Shocks Only a fail if they have leaked 3/4 of the way down the shaft.

CV will only fail if a split boot is throwing grease onto the brakes.

And yes WOF are very subjective and depends on the person doing the checking.

Botany Motor Worx can so it. They got a special machine to compress the springs.

Take the whole top plate out with the shock, compress the spring just enough to take the tension off, grab the rod with one hand and use a rattle gun to undo the nut with the other.

Theres a pipe place in East Tamaki on the corner of east tamaki rd and preston road which sells them in any size/color you want. Not too expensive either.
