i discovered something new today. there are two little orange lights on front interior light next to the rearview mirror. it doesn't really light up anything. in fact you wont notice them until you put your hand under them. there are 2 little holes where the lights are housed. have anyone noticed?

hey guys, i'm thinking to change all the yellowish bulbs to white/ice blue (i think this's what they are called) to give it a better look. i'm not keen on HIDs as i've read here that they are not supposed to be installed to cars not designed for them. and i dont want anyone here curse me for doing that. lol just wondering what brand are the best my bulbs are h7 55w and h8 55w for the fog light. i bought some on trademe for real cheap and they look more yellow than my existing ones. i always see a really tidy sp20 on the way to work and its got the best looking bulbs i've seen and they are not HID, just really white to slightly blueish. very nice. always wanted to stop the car and ask the driver. lol but i thought i'd ask here before i actual save up the courage and do it..... lol cheers

hi guys, thanks for all the help about the fog light post. it was more helpful than the manual. (maybe becuase the manual is in japanese. lol) i've come across other problems (maybe problems or maybe not). i've discovered than when i decellerate (like when you ease off the throttle and put your foot on brakes) i can hear a clunk noise coming from underneath the car. it sounds like somewhere in the drivesshaft is a bit loose. is it normal in a E46 318ti? i can hear this especially when moving slowly in 1st and put on the brakes. does anyone else have experienced this nosie? also the engine sounds a bit like a desiel when idelling. and yes i'm sure it's a petrol!! lol cheers guys

hey guys, what a forum! wish i discovered this earlier. i just bought a e46 318ti and i'm loving it. i kinda discover new features each day. however, i got puzzled about a switch that's to right the fog light switch (i initially thought it one was for the left and the other for the right....how dumb of me. ) does anyone here know what that switch is for? when i push it an orange light comes on the dashboard that looks like the fog light......here are a couple of photos I'd be very grateful if someone can enlighten me what the switch is for Thanks
