thanks Jason!! I will have to have a look tomorrow...even though just looking at the engine scares me!! dont know where to start!! lol hopefully it survives the cruise tomorrow and then after that i can look over the car! just hoping it is something simple like that...thought it may be a common thing in this model beamer.

Sooooo....livis not a happy chappy...... Car is overheating like there is no tomorrow... so driving into town car is fine...hit a bit of traffic before motorway exit look down and my temperatures really high i think....thats not good...i keep driving temprature seems to ease up a bit but can smell anti freeze really bad.....i did have a full car and it was a really hot day...but i would turn car off to cool it down and it would not go down until i started to drive again then it would stay half away...whole drivers side of car got really hot too....the fan doesnt seem to be working...so that could be it? or has anyone else had this kind of problem? so basically it only over heats when i hit traffic or am stopped at traffic lights. car seems to be running mint other then the over heating , im so worried its stuffed!! but im hoping its just the fan thing :S Please help!

yer when i first saw it i wasnt sure what to think!!! but its grown on me!! Im curious as to what engine is in it though...ive been trying to research it but i cant find anything then again i suck at research haha ok wait i think ive found ther choices Technical Data V8 Twin Turbo petrol engine Straight six-cylinder petrol engine Straight six-cylinder diesel engine Six-speed sports automatic transmission Dynamic Performance Control xDrive Adaptive Drive Active Steering Dynamic Stability Control Double-wishbone front axle Integral rear axle i think those are the choices you get for what engine you want?give me the V8 Twin Turbo any day haha A new chapter in the history of engines. The V8 Twin Turbo engine in the BMW X6 xDrive50i. In the BMW X6 xDrive50i, High Precision Injection and Twin Turbo technology join forces in a V8 engine for the first time ever. Both technologies deliver higher performance and lower fuel consumption. The figures speak for themselves: with 300 kW (407 hp), up to 600 Nm of torque between 1,800 and 4,500 rpm and an average fuel consumption of 12.5 l/100 km (EU composite figures), the 4.4 litre V8 engine in the BMW X6 xDrive50i delivers best-in-class efficiency. Another world premiere is the engine’s exhaust superchargers, which are fitted centrally in the V of the cylinder banks for the first time ever. By making the block more compact, this not only saves weight, but also reduces the pressure loss between intake and exhaust sides further still. I think im in love

I am looking at 19's for it ...Truxtons to be excact I found the lowering springs on trademe , cheap so i was an impulse buyer and got them...then i couldnt wait to put them in LOL but once mags are on it wont look so "gangster" LOL i hope but i didnt think it looked to bad the way it was except the whole bottoming out thing! bring on the new shoes for it though!
-
to be honest its not to bad over bumps! i went over a couple at ardmore today but wasnt too bad though i did manage to rip the inside plastic cover thing of my guard while driving home from work today, gave me a huge fright thought i had broken my bumper or something because it sounded like something was scrapping , i pulled over and my guard cover was all stuck between the guard the the wheel...so heres me in my skirt and high heels next to the main road jacking the car up then trying to pull the guard plastic off LOL its fine now the plastics been taken of though...no noises at all now! but needs bigger wheels! and it wont look as "dodgey" even though it does have springs
-
haahha love it!!!! yer I like to keep things simple but they may be a nice colour!! will have to look into it!! its slow and low but not bouncy! and i didnt want a fast run around car anyway thats what the evos for
-
FYI as above states. and SLAB stands for what? i was not expecting it to be this low , but it just kept going , so who knows , handles mint still though plus once bigger wheels are on it it will look a bit higher
