  1. Hey guys got a few things for sale: I have 3 x 15"x7 e30 basketweaves (need couple repairs, got quoted 150 to repair one of them and the other is not as bad) no idea what they are worth in this condition so make an offer. also have a set of 4 14" basketweaves for e30, say $400 for them, but price can be discussed. Also have 5x120 redrilled enkei nt-03, set of 4 staggered, 17x8 et35 front (gunmetal grey) and 17x9 et38 rear (white). Were for my e30, but I have too many wheels and some things just have to go.

Parts: Got a few e30 related parts, 5 stud conversion, 4 stud stuff, rear arms etc. Have complete p/s rack out of e30, complete with all hoses, pump, rack, rack ends etc. PM me if you after something and I ll tell you if I got it. A lot of e30 parts. I m moving overseas hence the sale and don't really have too much time to sort the pricing etc. so just contact me on 0275348481. Thanks!

  4. Guys, would there be any interest in e30 m325 (1989 uk import, loads of rust) coupe shell and also e34 535is (1990 nz new) both cars have live rego, I'm going to strip them and keep most of the parts, but can't keep the shells, would anyone be interested in them? Would be a shame to take them to the scrappers:(( It will most likely be happening early-mid next year (2014). This is not for sale topic, just a discussion at this point as I m trying to plan my actions with these two cars. Thanks

  5. Hey can anyone give me a part number on a fuel pump that will fit into my e30? I'm currently fitting a Sr20DET into my e30 and there's no way the 318 pumps going to cut the mustard. Iv been searching through trade me and all the pumps on there are to suit Nissan etc. has anyone tried making these work with the factory cradle or is there a better option?

biggest problem is the very little hole for the pump in the tank, i was going to fit bosch intank, but it didn't fit. I'd say something along the lines of walbro or deatschwerk should fit though.

  6. Fred is UE now, and he's working on it. Bunch of cars running it. I guess check out the website ?

I would say freeems is for people who are confortable with electronics - I would say its very DIY.

Thing is, you can go and buy off-the-shelf product, installed and tuned. It will cost you $$$$. If budget is not an issue then this is definitely easier solution.

MS and freeems are much cheaper solutions, but you will have to spend time to learn and do it right. And if you cut corners it might cost you more hassles. For me learing/installing EMS was an exciting adventure, and the knowledge I gained is usefull even when working with non-custom cars.

Did you tune your MS yourself? Mine has been working fine once i set it up properly, but its only on base tune at the moment

  7. Thanks for that! I think i'll go with a M50B25 after reading a few forums, It seems fairly common and a lot of information is given to assist with the swap!

What gearbox bolts behind the m50?

    Cheers

g240 from m40 engine models fits, otherwise e36 straight six manual gearboxes all fit and g260 from m20 engines fits too, but sits on an angle which means you would need to make changes to the crossmember.

  8. I used to work for jaycar chch...can tell you one thing: Jaycar dunedin are umm *insert nasty words* hard to deal with so to say, they interacted with other branches in same manner as they did with you! Regarding the cars, yes you just were very unlucky, we had a thrash display car that has seen some abuse and more and it was alive.:)
