make sure tv is on, then go back to setting menu in idrive mean screen, then in graphic section you can choose TV region to NZ

If you need FM radio conversion or Navigation conversion please contact us.

The only device that is not compatible is the DVD nav drive in the boot.

Everything else works

Replace the nav drive (also known as a nav computer) with the Euro Mk4 nav and you will have a fully functional nav system which works in NZ

The radio is reprogrammable, so don't fit a band expander, just set the AREA to EUROPE and it works perfectly

The TV just needs it Region set to PAL Europe and it works perfectly

I have just purchased a 2005 525i originally imported from Japan. How do I change the TV region as cannot find where to do this?

Jochen is now back in Europe but still and active member, so Im sure he will be along to give you an answer at some stage.

[e] In the meantime do some searching on the site and Im sure you'll be able to answer some more questions about what is and what isnt possible with the tv/nav in your car.

Hi Jochen - your posts and information is great. I notice an email a while back stated that you had some av leads to plug into the tv tuner. I have a 99 E46 with nav and wish to install this cable and maybe even the tv in motion cable for my ipod - (as you have).

Do you still have these available and are still in Mt Eden - I'm just on the shore (NZ) and would like to purcgase one from you if possible.
