hi i put this in the wrong place so ill try again i have a 2000 316i 1900cc coupe e46 i think ? 1 rear inside light stays on after unlocking car door and driveing around, light goes out after about 2 hours after car door locked 2 knock or rattle when in gear {auto} stops when in park 3 how do you replace head light switch, picked up new one today any help would be great.

does anyone know about see my other post for same things cheers

dude i feel for you, when i got this car of mine i got a lot of invoices for services done by the same dealer over the years, so suprise when i took the air cleaner out the date stamp was 28 03 00 the same as the car, never been changed since new, also the spark plugs where real dirty maybe the same ones again ? the oil filter was clogged, again ? $000 where spent yet nothing was changed, rip off merchants are every just cause you have a bmw its ok to do it.

hey, i drive a 2000 316i coupe 1900cc, i have had the car for a few months now and like it a lot, i dont know how to post pictures of it so i will have to miss out on that, what i like about this car is that it feels rock solid when i push it a bit around corners and never gets out of hand, not that i thrash it, i had a few good motorbikes before getting this so i know what good cornering feels like, also it feels like a bigger car than it is, those krauts are clever fellows.

what is it, a wreckers or insurance yard, wish there was some thing like that here, chistmass every day

in the NT in oz there are places where there are no speed limets yet the cops will stop you for going to fast so you cant win any where.

thanks eagle that link had more info and good pictures, i think ill give it one more try , then go to the dealers for it, i just dont like what they have done with this car, claining to have done service 1 and 2 only me finding out air clearner was the one that came with the car, ie made 29 03 2000 , also old spark plugs and oil filter, so much for service . cheers raz

thanks for all the replys everybody, i seem to have a odd ball then as i dont have all 20 female in the plug that are live, i tried to do as showed and nothing happened, i put a test light between 7 and 19 and no power showed up, this was with the key in postion 2 ie with service lights showing etc , is it just me or did i not do it right, the picture i looked showed a full plug ie with all 20 pins with their numbers showing , i have about half the amount so does the picture numbers stand or do i look for another number 7 and 19 HELP. raz

Hi i have a 316i 1900cc coupe2000 model, and i would to know how to reset the service lights, under the bonnet there is a large plug next to the spark plug coil, how can i reset this ? i do most of the maintance myself after having been ripped off by the local garages, any help would be great. cheers razmar

sorry eddy i dont know a lot about bmw,s i just love driving this car, its a 2000 coupe 1900cc i was told that it is a m what ever that is, the car has no numbers on the boot ie 518 etc, why im writeing is i know that worn rings do pressure the sump which causes oil loss and other thing to go wrong , i am just worried that this may be something like that, if you feel everything is as it should be then i am happy as well. cheers razmar

Hi i am new to this forum so i hope that some one can help i have a 1900cc m 2000 model, when i remove the dip stick or the oil filler cap when engine is runnig the engine tone changes is this due to sump pressure from worn rings or some thing else, the car has done 130000ks any help is great regards razmar
