Drove this car when it was for sale in Chch. Was a bit rough then in terms of bodywork and engine/underbody maintenance, it appears this guy has put a quite a bit of work into it.

Was for sale for 5k ono then... with reserve not met at 8k here it seems he's trying to recover some significant costs from maintenance.

Yip thats the car, it was brought by a YOUNG guy in dunedin, and I brought it off him. He had no idea what he had, so I brought it off him with the veiw to KEEPING IT. Now after speeding lots of $$$ ive decided to sell to do up my valiant.

Found a set and they look great! you just need to know where to look.

I've learnt over the last 25years afew things about our cars & women.

1) they dont mix (even if shes interested in them)

2) If you're single make sure you purchase your dream car or get all your modifications complete before your relationship gets serious or even get married.

3) Never let a women get between you and your car at any cost!

4) Tell them up front; the very day you meet her that cars are your passion and you'll be spending lots of money on them coz thats what keeps me happy! If they dont like it then they can move on!

So what I'm saying is - you put what ever wheels YOU prefer/like, dont listen to her or anyone else because at the end of the day you're the one behind the wheel with the big smile.

Throw Star Wheels Wanted for E34

Sorry to all those who rang me after the auction and for the extra cash incentives offered, but the Car has now been Paid for and picked up this evening!

New owner was so excited when he saw the car for the first time. He said it was much better than he expected and that the trade me photos didn't do it justice.

After a test drive he said its the best M5 he has ever driven!!

He flew in from Wellington and is now driving back with the biggest smile!!!
