Hi Guys, I am looking to sell my E30 1990 318i 4dr M40 engine - new cambelt approx. 2000k's ago service done about 1000k's ago Done 223000k's Rego and WOF til Jan 2010 few little dents and scratches, front left guard is missing a bit of paint from previous owner as per pic. has had manual conversion and possibly a short shifter put in but I am not too sure what the difference is. Awesome, any ideas on oil quantity though?

I have a BMW E30 1990 M40 engined car, the oil service light has just come on, a part from changing the oil filter and oil is there anything else I should be doing for a regular service? Also, any idea how much oil I need and is there any particular difference between brands of filters? Cheers

I wouldn't blame the tyre guys too much as I just took the wheels in as I was removing a broken wheel bolt, somehow that passed a warrant before I got it. I'm going to put standard wheels back on atleast until I can get some decent 15" with the correct offset. Thanks for your help guys.

Hi guys, On my e30 we have 16" wheels, ideally I'd like to go to 15" but have not got the funds to do so yet. I needed new tyres, they had 195/45 on them, but due to scarcity i had to go to 205/50 and now they rub against the shocks, has anyone got any smart ideas?

Hello All, I'm looking for my first BMW What I'm after is a 6cyl E30 Coupe would be magical but I will settle with a four door. Preferably manual as I'm not sure if a manual conversion is in my budget and I don't think I could complete it in a weekend Needs to be mechanically sound, not fussed about paintwork. WOF and Rego required as this is to be my daily driver. The goal i'm heading for is to install an M50/52 engine in the future. Hi Guys, I am a noob to the bimmers, I am keen for a E30 coupe manual however I could settle for a 4 door. I am hoping to do a lot of my own mechanical stuff, I have been working on cars at home with my dad and at one of the local garages so I am reasonably capable at doing some things. If anyone is keen to help me on a few early questions thatd be amazing. 1. How easy is a manual conversion in an E30, what would I need and how much is this looking to cost. 2. What transplants are available for the E30 that don't require mountains of new stuff, ie staying in the BMW family but moving to a 2.3 or 2.5L?
