I say +1 to E46 (but I'm biased )

You could get a fairly decent 4door on trademe around 11k.

And for resale it's the more modern of the lot for that price so should be easier to sell if you want.

This one says 2004+ but I think thats the same as the 03 facelift?

yeah it says E46, but doesn't say if it goes on facelift or not (apparently the tail lights are different?)
