My ignition did the spin and had to remove 2 relays to turn off my car searching the net I found a fix on youtube, but much to my disappointment a moving tiny lug that turns the ignition off has broken inside the barrel I have EWS sensor and a chip in the key is it possible to replace that mechanism? if I get another ignition barrel, can I change the key over? maybe swapping the chip inside the key is good enough for me as I am looking for a cheap fix. Anyone help, fix or sell me something to resolve my dilemma? My car is a December 1995 318i - its needing a WOF and this is probably holding me back Appreciate any help thanks

my one looks like the picture (image from ebay) this what you replace when your interior blower fan stops working (which mine has..) I'm not rich so I'm looking for a bargain, however I may have something interesting to swap or maybe some can point me to someone's wrecked E36? cheers!
