Yeah true, Pinders setup had some 38 dyno runs and tunes though so should have been fairly well tuned.

I wouldn't trust a 20 year old stock bottem end in my car no matter how much tuning it had anyways. Especially 600hp or whatever. lol.

You can have as many dyno runs as you want, but if you dont know what your doing its not going to help

There are guys pushing over 500hp on stock internals, But they are also running on the very edge of complete failure..

Dan Pinder on e30tech had a fully worked head, ported, bigger cams, bigger valves etc on a stock SuperETA bottem end. Made 450rwhp which is well over 500 crank HP. 27lbs of boost, NOS. It lasted heaps of drag races but ended up throwing a rod out of the block.. Obviously you wouldn't care much if just the bottem end suffered damage as it was stock anyways and easily replaceable. But stock bits won't handle huge amounts of power for very long..

The answer to this question is what would YOU prefer.. Work involved, Reliability, Money, Power goals, Use of the car etc. Only you can figure that much out..

Theres also Dan martins car who made similar power, but without the nos, and less boost (iirc) on a standard m20b25. Power and reliability mainly comes down to your tuning. Nothing will last if it is not tuned properly.

Not really true. Even a m20 will make 500crank hp on standard internals, which is more than enough in an E30.

DIY section would be sh*t. If you wanna know how to do somthing figure it out yourself (true DIY!), or there are guides on the net that people have posted before, most of them would probally be people copy pasting guides from other sites.

Id be inclined to paint last, so there is less chance of damaging it when working on the car putting the suspension in.

Gutted as, just wondering... was your car "deadlocked"? ie. key turned sideways in the drivers door? This handy feature saved our old E36 once before, they smashed the rear quarter window, then ran off pissed off as cos they couldnt get the doors open... too lazy to smash more windows it seems...

Nah it wasnt, my key dosent fit the drivers door :/ Tho it would of stopped them from getting in, Its somthing I need to get fixed. Tho you never know, if they couldnt get in they might of keyed / f**ked up my car more in frustration.

Lately ive been eating alot of takeaways, and tbh realised how crap they really are. It dosent matter what you get, it just tastes the same, you can order any subway and its pretty bland and dosent taste much different from anything else you can get there.

I just had an angus burger today, and it was pretty average, nothing special at all. All the burgers from burger king all pretty much taste the same aswell.

I keep buying them in hope last time I had some it was just a dud, and that it really will taste as good as it looks in the picture.

Hmm... we could remove the little lock puller from the rear doors, that might stop some thefts.

Or deadlock the doors so that even if you break a window you cant unlock the doors without the key.

Personally id rather hook a airbag up to my alarm so that when they get inside and set it off, it will hopefully snap their neck.

Yeah and because of most textured plastics used in cars you cant get a print off it. Unless they touch the glass or somthing you dont have much chance.

Theres a few marks and stuff on the windows, Ive put a tarp over the car as its raining at the moment.

Only thing is they cant get here until tommorow, I dont wanna leave the car out there over night with a broken window and its not drivable at the moment so I have to push it into the garage. So ill probally stuff up the prints by doing that, oh and no one will be here tommorow :/ Hopefully they get some prints off some other cars if they are the same people.
