  1. Well the deal fell through on my car so it's still up for sale. Lookin for a quick sale so I've dropped the price to $5500 firm which is well under what I've been told it's worth.

The recent work has been done by Glen so you shouldn't have any issues with the car. Genuine reason for sale. If you're interested please text/call me on (021) 211 5511

  2. I've come to the conclusion that I don't really need my car as I have a company car so I'm thinking about selling it. I'm just interested in what you guys think it would be worth because I think I may have paid a bit much.

It's a 96 328i auto with 155km on the clock. It's in pretty good condition and just had Glen do a heap of work on it fixing up a few problems so it's running pretty sweet. On top of the extras you can see in my signature (mags, spoilers etc) it's lowered on gen schnitzer springs and has a simota carbon air intake.

Any indications on a price would be very appreciated :)

  3. Sorry.. your wrong. You need to charge it first which takes sometimes 48 - 72hrs with the proper charger for a calcium battery. They also cant do a battery discharge check. Sometimes those stores cant even calculate the right change to give you.. try them

I somehow knew it wouldn't be that easy.

  4. A good calcium battery charger will cost you more that 3 new batteries. Mine from memory cost about $900.. charges 3 batteries at a time though. If the alternator in your car cant keep the battery charged, its nackered or you have another problem that needs to be checked. You also run the risk of damaging control units.

Oh wonderful. I think I'll just leave it in the shed. Thank god I've got a company car that never breaks down Lol

  5. You need a Din 65... I have them here 3yr warranty

BTW..thats a calcium battery and an ordinary charger wont charge it properly. Might charge it a little to get you going though

So I either need a calcium charger or a new battery? How much are the batteries?

  6. Went to try to start the car last night to discover that the battery is dead. Bugger. I've put it on the charger but if that doesn't work I think I may need a new one. I presume that I need to get a specific battery and a supercheap auto battery won't cut the mustard? Here's what I have currently (sorry bout the shitty mobile phone photo)....

[e] Ive removed your photo because of its size, feel free to resize it and repost it.

  7. Disconnect the battery fo 5 minutes first. And dont lay the airbag facing down. Sit in out of the way after you have removed it facing up. Do not turn your ignition on while the airbag is removed or you'll have to get someone to reset the airbag warning light. What do you need to do this for ? are you putting a different wheel on the car ?

We can do it for you if you like. Give me a call Ph. 2722546

    Sent you a PM :)

  8. can any1 tell me what outlaw's front kit is??? i really like it haha i want one!!!

I had no idea either but Nick said it's an e46 (rep) m3 bumper. I'm seriously thinking about doing the manual conversion like you are. Who's doin yours and how much is the install costing you? There's no way I could do it myself so I'll need to take it somewhere

  9. Hey guys, dumb question but is it usual for the water level to drop to here? When I bought it there was a water leak which I took in to get fixed. They pressure tested it and found that it was just a loose hose.

Anyway, I filled it up this morning, drove around about 10km and I've just checked it tonight and it's at this level. This there something wrong still or is it ment to drop to here? The only reason I ask is I'm ment to be going up north for the weekend and I don't want to try out my 'State insurance roadside rescue' Thanks for any help guys :)
