UPDATE ON WHATS LEFT OF THE 325I 325i getrag 260 drive shaft-$50 325i motor (still in car) and complete -$500 super low jamex lowering springs-$150 shortend rear monroe gas shocks-$80 mint cloth interiour-$80 17x 7.5 roh z's mags- $550 e30 shell in primer all been panelbeated and very straight with no rust at all, doors have all been painted but can easily be sanded and painted over top or can buy shell with the custom blue pearl paint it was going to be that costs around $800 a liter-whole lot for $700 brand new 325i clutch was put in the car and driven not even a km down the road to test it and now have stripped the car i paied $600 for it will sell for-$350 uhmmmm what else is there. if theres anything else you need let me no and ill see if its there and will strip for you cheers

as a carpainters perspective, i hate all wrapping. it looks sh*t. dosnt last. sometimes costs more than a paint job. especially if your going matt black. you could get your car painted for less than 3k. then again i hate all decals and stickers. if its not painted on then leave it off. unless its emblims or badges of course. dont do it....... if you ever wanted to take the wrapping off also, good luck with that lol

may consider parting out if there is enough interest in it to make my money out of it, so post up anything you need with what your willing to pay and ill think about it and may start striping it.

everythings there, and needs 2 new tyres for the rear, a ignition wire from the key barrel to the dizzy( still starts fine just was rewcommended to replace). and paint the shell and bonnet and get a right front guard and paint both guards and put her back together then wof and rego it.

hey guys i have my e30 project up for grabs as i just dont have the motivation to finish it. was my daily driver until i blew the gear box and took it off the road to finish it. i replace the gearbox with a mtech 2 e30 gearbox that had only done 85000kms bought from hell bm, replaced the clutch with a brand new one from euro italian on the shore, bought it with a recond 325i motor but dont have any proof. goes really well iv owned 5 e30s now and this was by far the fastest and nicest to drive, has shortend monroe shocks in the back with jammex superlow springs all round, sitting on roh 17x 7.5 zs with 25mm alloy adapters all round. im a car painter so i started working on the body removed what little rust it had and re primed the whole car and started from there. painted all the doors and bumpers and boot in an amazing pearl blue that cost over $800 a litre but i havnt painted the shell the bonnet and the front guards, it needs a right front guard also. comes with paint approx 2-3 litres of white for the base coat and 2 litres of the blue and the clear coat too. colour really has to be seen in person to appreciate it. it was matched to the old old woodystock blue burbon bottles when they first came out, the good ones lol got broken into and got the sterio stolen and they made a mess of the center dash so that needs replaceing also have just worked out what the car owes me and have spent well over 5k on it but it does need work i just dont have the money to finish painting it and have another car to work on so its up for grabs, have estimated around 1k to finish it but all i want for it is 3k if anyones interested ill put some photos up but if not ill store it until i have the money and finish it then sell it. it is in really good nick interior is mint and the body and all panels are really straight. my lose your gain hit me up if you want to come have a look im up on the hibiscus coast, oh and its a 4door sedan facelift model

took the idle control valve off and gave it a good clean freeing it up and reconnected it and it turned it over, it started and ran at idle for about 10 seconds then turned off again. tried starting it again and it fired and died straight away so i took the idle control valve off again and did the same and tried again and it started again and died straight away. thinking it could be the idle control valve thats causeing it to not run but i could be wrong any input is appreciated thanks. use to run mint even when left for long periods of time and now it just wont hold idle and dies. how do i check the coolent temp sensor and thermo timeer switch also? cheers

325i 1990 4 door e30 facelife was running fine and idleing fine but is getting panel and painted and was sitting around for a few weeks. have been taking the battery out after i finish with it and park it up so it wouldnt die could this cause the computer to stuff out? any help is much appreciated thanks deon

have a set of 14x7 bbs weaves just getting painted atm( old paint had faded and stone chiped)

need a 1.8 e30 left front strut with the hub and arm cheers.

haha nothing like pulling a e30 from the shed to start working on mine just got a new gearbox, new clutch, new shocks, in the process of painting her atm and then she will be driven over xmas and up for sale

320i e30 manual gear box

hey mate have a g240 e30 manual gearbox that has a slight crunch down changing from 3rd gear to 2nd gear if you donchange over 2300 revs. wouldnt be to much to fix. $150 if interested

e30 14' basketweaves with no tyres in average-good condition for $150. can also fix and repaint them for the new owner at extra cost as i am a panelbeater/painter.
