Update ...WOW! WHAT A MACHINE! Best car i have ever been for a ride in haha. 200kph on country roads out the back of Upper Hutt. The guy knows how to drive that's for sure. AC Schnitzer exhaust sounds amazing. Car was in really nice condition inside and out. Runs really sweet, drives smooth enough with the extra bracing added. He had a very thick stack of receipts from services and work carried out on the car. A few things he talked about was he broke the diff bracket on the subframe doing a hill start, He got his engineer to weld a bigger one on and painted it. No cert or anything for it and has passed its last two WOFs with no mention on it. He also said he hasn't done any valve clearance on it since owning it. I'm still lost for words on how good of a ride it was

Thanks heaps guys, much appreciate all the info looking at it today after 4pm if all goes well and i like it i will then get it properly looked at again before i decide to purchase or not. Exciting times ahead

Will try and sort out a time tomorrow to go see it. What are the main areas i should look at? common faults etc

Looked at that one on trademe a few times but after the M3 evo I know a guy who said he can build me one for about 17k.. but knowing it wasn't born an M3 it just wouldn't be the same haha. Haha i do love a good laugh. I was once north of the Bombay's but now spend my days in Wellington. Seen one dark green M3 evo here but he wasn't keen to sell haha

For years i have been searching for my dream car and still searching to find the right one. I am after an E36 M3 Evo.. in Cosmos black or Estoril Blue. If anyone has one or knows of any around could they let me know? Been wanting one for so many years
