Bugger. Have band expander but sounds like crap as soon as you get outta town and I'm too early for the world mode radio. What are my options (in layman's terms please) of eliminating the expander and having an input to play mp3's from my phone? Sorry for the complete naivety of my knowledge with these

Hi all, Hoping that someone can give me a definite answer here... I currently have the Jap navigation system in the car (2001 E39) and want to go back to the 'Business' system (or whatever it's called). Is it a simple plug and play or more involved?

I've been wanting to know if the obc functions are still able to be used too. Care to elaborate? -
Shall take some tomorrow. Completely stock standard, unfortunately a Jap spec one so have to work out what I'm going to do regarding the stereo in it. Ultimately would love the factory business system to get rid of the widescreen that it's got but unsure if it'll be plug and play
