  1. Hi,

I have an E36 coupe, and recently the drivers door handle is getting difficult to open from outside and inside, especially if the window is up. I had an issue like this on my passengers side, which resulted in the outside handle breaking after my friend tried to open it without the 'knee in the door trick'. Replacing the handle was a nightmare as when I did, the window wasn't removed from the door.

Is there is a solution for my drivers door handle problem with out replacing the whole unit as i'd rather not go through that again, but if i had to, does anyone have a 1996 (DEC 1995) door handle assembly? When replacing my passengers side one I realised the original lock tumbler did not fit into the replacement door handle, and I'd essentially like to use the same locks for my drivers door.

Any advice would help, and I apologise if i'm in the wrong category, but seems like a maintenance thing...

    Thanks

  2. Hello bimmersport friends, I'm after some parts for my e36.

Leather door cards for front and back

    Passenger side door sill

    M Sport Mirrors

    M spec shift knob/boot

    M spec wheel (airbag version)

    Arm rest console.

Has anyone else changed their rear speakers to a 6.5? If so what'd you do to make them fit?

    Thank you!

  3. one rim has pretty bad curbing the rest of them are usual wear are tear. I reckon they'll look sick painted white.

    all are 16 x 7 and 5x120

    4x are 205/50/16

    1x is 225/50/16

I believe they are wof-able. Would be good for WOF, or even good ol' skidz. Comes with centercaps.

wanting $250 for the whole set.

  4. I have 5x Style 30's that came off my e36. All come with tires including the spare, which is a brand new pirelli.

  5. Hello.

So I believe my viscous fan clutch has finally given out, and my fan is forever spinnin, more revs, faster/louder the spinning gets. I can't tell if i'm driving an e36 or flying a 747. I have done some research and i've been told its best to delete fan (the free fix). But how long till not having a fan causes a problem?

I daily drive my 323i coupe, and sit in traffic occasionally (i try my best to duck driving during traffic times).

So I need a new fan clutch. Would anyone (preferrably Auckland) have one for sale?

Otherwise, does anyone have an electric fan kit for sale? I know i can order one off the internet but this is my only form of transport and I'd rather not wait on shipping. Currently I'm not driving her as I'd rather not have the fan grenade and make holes everywhere.

Any help/advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

  6. I currently purchased some wheels that come with Eagle F1 directional fronts and Nexen rears, about 5-6mm tread all around but the front right tyre has small damage to tyre edge from rubbing. What would these be worth? Or will anyone be interested to swap them for a set of 215/45/17's?

  7. Hi. So I'm looking lower my e36 coupe. I'm currently happy with the rear height but definitely want to reduce the fender to tyre gap. After doing some research I understand that the H&R Springs and Bilstein shocks are a great setup. Does anyone have a set in good condition they're willing to part with? I know adjusties are the way to go but student budget life. If not H&R / Bilstein, what are some good springs/shock setups? I'm open to all offers.

    Thanks.

  8. I'm looking into buying a 323i m sport with 145xxx that has been manually converted at hell bm. Car is in good spec other than a little ding in back bumper and right fog light not working. Comes with an alarm and immobilizer. Is this worth 4.2k? Compared to a factory manual 318is with 120xxx. Both same colour.

  9. Hi, so my friend has a 1988 318i, which is running with an m40 on automatic transmission which he is currently working on. Its done about 160xxx k's, M-Tech body kit as well. This will be my first car and I am a huge fan of the e30 chassis. I am not the biggest fan of driving an automatic, and I am interested in converting it to manual. From my understanding a getrag 240 is what is needed for the conversion, but is it worth converting it? The m40 isn't the fastest engine, and over time I would like to swap the engine into an m50b25. Would i still be able to use the getrag 240 or will I need another gear box completely for an m42 conversion? I wouldn't want to waste money converting and then needing to get ANOTHER gear box if I decided to swap the engine. Any advice would be nice as I am new to this.

    Cheers bros!
