As per the title, just for future reference, are there an decent mechanics that know their way around BMW's in HB? (excluding HB BMW)

When I say static I just mean I wasn't moving. So went lock to lock, back to centre, turned key off, waiting about 30 sec, started car and all was good.

I static reset it when I left work and it was fine all the way home and back again this morning (which is only 10km each way). Will check tyre pressure tonight.

The active steering fault light came on on my way to work this morning in the E60 I've barely had 2 weeks   Hopefully a reset sorts it

I had a look through my emails but couldn't find anything. It was so long ago that I bought it, I just don't remember the name of the site sorry but it cost me around $550 after customs got their taste

Do you guys think my price is realistic? I thought it was pretty good for the kms/condition/mods. Had 20+ watchers and 400+ views in the first 2 days on trademe but no serious interest. Am I too high?

I'm disappointed for you that you've been unable to sell this. I have one that I need to sell too as I've bought an E60. I'm not looking forward to it now

I will try and take a photo tonight but my shed is so full i'll have to do it outside where it will be dark by the time I get home so might not really work  :S  Especially with the bumper being black PP

I imported this from the states a couple of years ago and it's been sitting in the original packaging in my shed ever since. I'm never going to fit and paint it so here's a bargain for somebody. It comes complete with trims but does not include fog lights.

I've got some of these in my 540, I got them 2nd hand on TM so no idea how many kms they've done but I've done 4000kms now and they're still sweet. Ride really nicely for coilovers too

Thanks Glenn, waterpump and thermostat are done. Maybe I'll do the PCV diaphragm while I'm in there then.

Ok I'll have a look around the throttle body. What's involved if it's the valley plate? Is that just another gasket?

Hi guys

I've been losing coolant at about 250ml per fortnight for a few months without being able to find where it was going... I finally spotted a little bit of coolant at the rear of the engine under the inlet manifold. From looking at diagrams I think it'd probably one of the two pipes that run under there from the water pump.

Does anyone here have experience with this? Do these pipes crack or is it likely just one of the orings that's leaking?
