  1. on road costs: wof and rego. wof should pass so $25. rego is like $70 from beginning of next month so thats like $100 value.

2 year warranty? mechanical warranty? with who? that means you are required to do a trans fluid service within 3 months of purchase ($500-700) then regular servicing at authorized centres which is like $200-500 each time. you cant take it to random indy places or do it yourself and there are strict rules for making sure you are eligible for claim. but what could go wrong with a car thats done 40ks? probaly nothing until its hit 100ks by then your 2 year warranty would have already expired.

i would say tell the dealers u dont want the warranty and offer 13k for the car. who knows?

(no responsibilty taken if your car breaks down without mech warranty based on what i said above)

Good points Qube, mechanical warranty is with autosure - essential cover.

    Thanks

  2. my friend sold his for around $12k not long ago with 100 ks and another member sold his for 10500? with 80 or 90ks. both were 323i msports 2006.

given the low kms its an ok price but i personally think its a bit on the expensive side.

Thanks Qube, price includes 2 year warranty and also on road costs.

  3. Hi there, new to forums.

Never owned a BMW before but am currently looking at buying a 2006 323i E90

    http://www.vehicleimportcentre.co.nz/listing/2006-bmw-323i-m-sport/

Looking for advice really, thoughts on the car above and pricing. Too high or just right.

Any gotchas to be aware of...

Also any recommendations where to get pre purchase checks done.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks
