  1. Bump for this,

I have taken the rear wheel speed sensors out and cleaned them, they were not very dirty, didn't fix the issue.

My friend loaned me his code reader, and we managed to get these codes out:

    5DF0
    DSC: Hydraulic unit pump motor

    5DF1
DSC: Hydraulic unit pump motor connector faulty

Looking around the internet it seems this could be a faulty ABS module.

Has anyone ever dealt with these codes before and have some advice?

    Cheers

  2. Thanks for the replies everyone, the new wheels are staggered 18/8 front, 18/9 rear.

Some research I did before buying:

I am going to try swapping the original wheels back on to see if it fixes it, if not, might try clean/test/replace rear wheel sensors.

Either way I dont own a jack :( So will report back when I manage to find one and test that out... Cheers

  3. Hi there,

I have all three ABS + DSC + Handbrake lights come up at once intermittently on my 2007 E91 BMW.

After a bit of research, it looks like it could be one of the rear wheel sensors.

I have recently changed the wheels from factory 16" to aftermarket 18" and have not got a wheel alignment. The problems came up shortly after changing wheels. Could this be the cause? Or will it be a faulty sensor? Just dont want to go buy new sensors if I just need a wheel alignment.

Also might be worth noting, I bought the car about 3 months ago off a dealer, he had recently got the ABS module repaired and had receipts for it.

    Any help appreciated. Cheers :D
