  1. Annoyingly I was also looking forward to taking the car down to Wellington for a weeks holiday over Queens Birthday weekend. Would have been a really good test for performance, economy etc. Oh well, will be going down in my Rover 75 Tourer instead!
  2. Oh yeah, and the day before I had two brand new tyres put on the car and a wheel alignment done. Tyres had travelled about 160kms when this happened. Plus the diesel tank is basically full too. Grrrrr! Graeme
  3. Unfortunately I have managed to crash my 330d. A silly mistake, looked down to turn on my heated rear window, forgot that there had been a thumping great Chrysler Voyager parked right on the corner for the last two or three weeks. Looked up in time to go "oh drat", actually much stronger language was used, but you get the drift! Swerved and braked at the same time, but I was unable to avoid colliding with it. Was only travelling at what I would think was 30 kms, due to the corner. Lukily my airbags did not go off, and according to the panel beater, I have managed to miss vital components by about 25mm. I just hope the insurance company will repair it.
  4. Thanks Jared, I did wonder if that might be the case. Odd how my 2 Rover 75's have a fog light each side, yet the BMW only has one!
  5. Hi all, I have a 2002 NZ new 330d. I have noticed that only the right rear fog light works on my car. I have changed the left rear 'fog' bulb, but upon activating the rear fog lights, I still only have the one. From what I have noticed, especially when driving around Auckland!, that most BMW's appear to have a left and right rear fog light. Can anyone shed any light as to what my issue might be? Light module?, circuit failure in wiring somewhere? Etc. Cheers, Graeme
  6. Hi all. Have just joined this forum due to my purchase yesterday of a 2002 330d auto. Has travelled 185,000 kms and is a New Zealand new example. Colour, I believe, is Steel Grey?. From what i have discovered so far, it was originally sold in Tauranga, and most imprtantly has a well documented service history. I have been exposed to BMW's via my younger brother, he has owned a 1997? 320i and sold that to purchase a 2010? 330d. I also have some experience with BMW electrics.....in my 2 2003 Rover 75 Tourers, a my 2002 MG ZT 190! But I had better not go there on this forum with those cars I guess!! I am looking forward to reading up on many threads and learning as much as I can about this exceptional vehicle. Cheers, Graeme (Worksie)
