I just got the 335i, while I'm super happy with its all round performance, I'd absolutely love to chip for more hp. In saying that, it has a mechanical warranty for 3 years so don't want to void this. I'd be fairly certain performance mods like this would be disallowed. Does anyone know how closely the mechanics look (if at all) for unauthorized mods in the event of a breakdown? Also, are aftermarket exhausts banned? My mate has an X5 with 22s (cringe) and exhaust which was accepted by the warranty place, would I assume u can do the same without voiding it? I would ask them but that might raise some sort of suspicion haha

Hey team, I used to frequent the site back when I had my e36 about 10 years ago. It was a 320i vanos manual quite heavily modified. It was considered an awesome car back then, probably not so much now. Are any of the old grumps still about that hit the roof when someone talks about using the accelerator beyond 1/4 throttle? I used to get a roasting for blowing 3 diffs at 1000 bucks a pop in my e36 doing donuts in car parks. It used to get lively in the discussions haha can't wait to have a read! I have just purchased a 335i E92, love it. Black with red leather. Has mechanical warranty but I really want to mod it! I'm 28 from CHCH Cheers guys all the best
