I have just purchased an E60 525i wagon and it has annoying bogus traffic announcement warning me of non existing rail crossings and high risk crash areas. Cannot find how to turn these off. Sure it must be possible without coding right? Any solution would be appreciated. Cheers

Well as it turns out. It has no dipstick. But i found the iDrive setting online. Engine need to be running to check. Thanks all for help, i hope others find this post useful.

I have just purchased a 2006 525i jap import. Just familiarising myself with the car. I wanted to check the oil levels but there appears to be no joystick. The internet told me a way i can do it through iDrive but the japanese version does not have a vehicle check as suggested in euro models. Can someone tell me how i can do this? Cheers.
