  1. porirua city european can also do pre purchase inspections, they specialise in bmws and the owner (mike) was trained by shelly bmw where he was employed for a number of years. shelly bmw were the wellington dealership before jeff grey took over.

    jono from jkse used to work for porirua city european prior to getting into bmws and going out on his own.

    porirua european is more convenient for me as i work in porirua and jkse is on the other side of wellington which would mean i would need to take half a day off work to take it in.

    as previously said the car is in good condition, i deal in bmw parts so if it needed anything i would more than likely have the parts on the shelf and they would be replaced....

    alternatively if you were to come down and buy it i could pay your air fare if sold at my buy now price... food for thought anyway

    3 spoke msport airbag steering wheel

    (the factory suspension was msport, the shocks and springs are uprated aftermarket, the springs are roughly the same height as the msport but are uprated (ie its a comfortable ride height doesnt have a problem with rubbing the floor/exhaust on driveways or judder bars etc) i can return it to standard msport suspension if required but this set up is much better...)

    quick car good on gas, handles well and has never had a problem with wofs while i have had it.

  3. looking for a fuel pump for a friend

    need the intank fuel lift pump to suit an e30 with the twin pump system (ie low pressure lift pump in tank on rhs which feeds the presure pump under left rear sill)

    this will be in all south african e30s and early euro e30s (chrome bumper)

  5. a mechanic friend of mine had one in wellington a few months ago, it was removed from the car, sent to hutt automatics (the local auto specialists) who stripped it, changed all of the worn parts costing 1400 (invoice should be available), around this time the customer decided they couldn't afford to fix the car so he was left holding the box... i will check with him tomorrow. if you pm me your phone number i will text you his contact details after i have spoken with him if you like...

    i have an e39 523i with a jap stereo. the car was manufactured 12/96.

    i need to replace the radio inorder to get nz frequencies.

    so my question is am i able to swap it with any e39 stereo or are there compatability issues that mean i will need to use components from a similar year car? (eg i can get a 2000+ e39 business headunit along with the matching multi information display, will this work in my car and will it be a simple matter of unbolting the old components and fitting the 2000+ ones or will i run in to difficulties with the multi information display/on board computer if i use the later model components?

    also could you confirm whether the e39 stereo has the tuner inside the head unit or does it have a seperate tuner box?
