Hi! i recently purchased an e30 320i 1990 and the windscreen wipers have stopped working. I was getting getting gas and turned the car off mid wiper cycle (they were in the middle of the windscreen). When I turned the car back on they wouldn't move. When the wipers are switched on the wiper motor makes a humming sound but the wipers do not move. When I switch between wiper speeds the wiper motor makes a higher/lower pitch humming sound. when I remove the wiper relay, they motor does not work at all (obviously). any idea what this could be?
