Not my taste but seen it done before

If this is the market think I'll keep mine despite lack of use

Is fuel consumption becoming an issue re price of cars?

My very little used 😟 435i no longer has a weather protected location so the wheels seem to have suffered. I haven't attempted any remedy yet, I have a habit of making things worse so thought I'd ask

Is this a professional refurb job or is there a product that can remedy this ?. I looked on line elsewhere and a BMW coating fault was mentioned, looked similar not same and no remedy, it's going to my fix if attempt to do so

Looks very nice. Interested to know what AMP ( DSP ? ) you put in, I looked into upgrading my HiFi level system but couldn't justify the cost for the amount of use my vehicle gets

Didn't seem to be many options when I looked around

I've been reading snippets on the site that seem to indicate sale prices are higher than usual perhaps Covid related?

Relates to models and years?

Bought this 2.5 years ago for trips that haven't happened, 11,300 km in that time on top of the 100,500 it had when I got it, so just ks for a little fun and to keep it running

With those things combined parting with it reluctantly comes to mind more often than I'd like

Am I right about current values? Still luv driving it when I can and would like to hear to I'm wrong so can keep playing for a bit longer

Jury still out for me on the Runflats so will have to make a decision eventually

Were handled like motorbikes in the past , fuel tank drained, no battery, was certified done by a mechanic , re just an engine as below

I asked for current info and got “If there’s no fuel, battery or other haz product we can accept as non haz with no MSDS required.”

Companies are super careful with potential DG these days and it's a specialist area with trained staff but sometimes misunderstandings can happen

Early 70's think I mostly only listened to Slade,    then added Alice Cooper, with Skyhooks

These along with the usual, was a time when I could turn on the radio and actually know what I was listening to and most stations ( werent many ) had something I liked/could listen to

80's for me some great music mixed in with some cringe worthy stuff

Some might think Slade fall into this category ( which one... for you to decide )

Sounds like a compressor is a minimum and sealant if stuck/leak large

BMW have the kit for 264, there's also a Slime kit incl compressor for 172, read that Slime doesn't kill the tyre and can be washed out, so as long as not damaged will live another day ?

Also read that if totally flat need to jack car up for compressor to fill tyre with air, hoping sensor will warn long before that

Suppose i'm doing a belt and braces but a flat in the middle of the night, miles from anywhere sounds like my domain ?

looks like a frequent point of discussion, and probably asking what has been answered already so apologies in advance 

Will finally get to run the 435i on a decent run up north in a couple of weeks and looking at repair shops for run flats ( just in case ) unsurprisingly they arent open on a Sunday

My understanding for a minor flat there's a kit ( compressor and tyre fil type product, I dont have one ) to repair until at tyre shop back in AKL

However some comments advise the tyre fil kills the tyre, have i misunderstood?, a weekend away that includes get stuck til tyre shop opens on Monday wont go down well with me or more importantly my passenger

I mostly dont like the run flat ride but then maybe its just the BMW ride vs my usual cushy but by comparison slow boat Mazda

An easy answer for all those run flat drivers out there

New to BMWs, got to time of life when a weekend coupe seemed appropriate

Drawn to M6 V10 then Series 6 640/650 ,in both instances couldn't afford the newer vehicles, liked all the exteriors of the older models ,but I like my tech so had to be newer

Trademe searches for BMW coupe 3 litre plus led me to this, sort of accidental purchase, was originally still over budget

I've used the dealer pictures as its never looked so good, It's the luxury model so not as popular as sport versions but for our purposes this is ideal

Will have a few questions but will put them in appropriate folder/headings
