Hi all, recently had an error come up on my x5 that the tow hitch is not securely locked. Iv tried several times but it just makes a noise but does not move and is stuck open. Forums are light on this topic as this was largely an option for the Europe and Asia market. Does any body have any insights or recommendations? I’m wondering if it’s better to move to a traditional tow hitch instead of electric.

As per the trade me add, I sold my 4.8is and these are surplus to requirement and could be of interest to other e53 owner. There is an extra set of rears which I had reconditioned and were never used so you could have a 10.5 inch square set up or choose to staggered. I’ve got a set of black style 87s on Toyo Proxes St2 with decent thread. These originally came of the 4.6is and previous owner painted black (could do with a touch up) Specs: Fronts - 9.5x20 et45 & 275/40/R20 Rears - 10.5x20 et30 & 315/35/20 Looking for $1200
