Hi all,
Long time lurker, but new member here. I'm hoping to sell my E36 onto an interested party. Up for sale is a 1996 BMW E36 Saloon, with a legitimate 141,000 kms. I've personally owned this car for around 18 months. For around 12 of those months, the car served as my daily driver. I bought the car from a BMW fanatic (also a community member), who had the car manual swapped professionally at Auto38 in Wellington. The former owner also opted for a highly expensive (and rather heavy) competition clutch. During my ownership, I have performed plenty of maintenance. This included replacing the majority of the cooling system, which is a known bane of the E36. Some of the notable work completed is listed below:- New Radiator- New Thermostat- New Water-pump- Roof-liner professionally replaced by Kohl Rod and Custom (all new material used)- Rebuilt front-left Brake Calliper (new seals)- Replaced Steering Rack- Replaced Valve Cover Gasket- 2 new Tyres + Wheel Alignment
- LHS Ball joint and steering arm.As part of the above maintenance, the car has new fluids including fresh coolant and power-steering fluid (ATF). Happy to offer test-drives, though bring a form of collateral (e.g. your car, cash, etc). Also have a Pre-purchase inspection available for the buyer.
Hoping for offers around the 5k mark.
