This is the part number. Cheers

Thanks for the replies. It looks like the wiring has been tackled before. I haven't gone further into the roof line. Could try that. I have been unsuccessful finding a diversity antenna with the same part number.

I have been trying to tackle my remote central locking. Remote key gives off a signal. Diversity Antenna is not receiving signal. Checked wiring in the latch area. All seems good The fm stereo works fine. My plan is to bypass the diversity antenna and fit an after market remote. I can still lock and unlock the car using the key in the drivers door. So its not urgent but would like to fix it. I have searched for a replacement diversity however no joy. A new one would have to come from abroad and cost in total nearly$1200 There must be a work around. I had an auto electrician patch into the body control module. When the remote was activated only the rear doors locked and unlocked. Any ideas.

Hi all. I have been working through the little issue my E61 has since I bought it not long ago. It's time to tackle the compressor for the self leveling rear suspension. I have noticed in the morning when I get in and start it the compressor kicks in immediately and is quite noisy too. Is it supposed to come on every morning? Is there a kit or any tips out there to quieten it down a little. Cheers

Just a quick update to my paddling pool of water in the boot area. I have the panoramic sunroof on my e61. The rear drainage tubes were blocked resulting in water flooding the battery compartment and spare tyre well. I removed the plastic trim either side pillar to gain access to a good portion of the drain tube. I cut the drain tube and blow compressed air down and up the tube. A lot of crud came out of the bottom of both tubes. I then got a half inch tubing to splice the two halves together again. The clear tubing allowed me to see the water draining down the tube to confirm the tube was clear. It also allows for easy access to repeat the process whenever needed. I have some pics below and a short video to show the process. I hope this possibly helps someone. VID20210221124828.mp4

Hi qube. Looks like we're both doing a wagon project. It's leaking radiator change today. The amount of dead flies and leaves that came out with the old radiator was crazy.

After trawling the net last night I found this.https://www.bmwrepairguide.com/bmw-e61-trunk-leak-sunroof-drain-failure-2004-2010-5-series-touring-wagon/

Hi Everyone. I have a 2005 e61 Tourer. Only owned for a few weeks. Slowly working through some niggles it has. Well driving home today all the lights on the dashboard light up. Red car on a lift comes on. Infact everything came on then off. Car drive perfectly fine. Looked like it was having an electronic breakdown. When I got home I looked in the boot. Water everywhere. I think it must have come from the tailgate or the panoramic sunroof. Anyone any suggestions on where to look for drain holes etc. Would like to get fixed before the next downpour. The pics show the modules have been moved. So it must have leaked previously. Cheers.

Hi all. I recently bought a 2005 bmw e61. It has a few things that need fixing. I'm looking forward to bringing this e61 back to it's former glory. So far I've managed to fix the panoramic roof. It was previously disconnected. Hopefully I may have some knowledge I can pass on and also may need some help from you in the future.
