I have recently bought a 1990 BMW 320i. It's sole purpose at this satge is a project car so im not too woried about the numerous things wrong with it... most of which i discovered on the drive home.
- The steering feels completely disconnected and the car wanders around on the road. (Could be steering rack i guess??)
- The dash lights do not work. (Blown bulbs I assume??)
- A few knocking noises from various places under the car. (NOOOO idea)
- Front tryes have a bad camber on them sort of like... /----\ but less extreme obviously. (Control arms??)
The car was $500 so I don't feel ripped of or anything, but im open to hearing any ideas about what is causing these problems. Im not a hugely mechaniaclly minded person but can do the basic stuff and i figure i can learn on this car.
