Hi is anyone knowledgeable about whether or not it is possible to swap out the ETC card rear view mirror in Japanese imported BMWs to one with the built in garage door opener? I've seen some say that its not that simple and may need coding? Thanks in advance.

You are able to code this yourself using standarding coding tools if you wish. I've done it myself in my 2017 BMW 330e
