  1. Hey team, I have a GDI intake valve cleaner by CRC. Should I just remove the entire box of the air filter and spray directly in the intake pipe? My engine is N46B20B
  2. Is It true that there's no fuse in BMW e92 series there's you could tap for 12v constant because the system turns it off after 30 minutes? If yes, what's the other option without draining my battery? I've read you can tap directly on the battery, but you have to tap it with a fuse which I don't know what fuse I should be using. Thanks!

    Waterpump test

Turns out, its not relevant because N46 isn't using an electric water pump.

    Waterpump test

Has anyone tried the water pump test on a E92 N46 engine? I tried this and I can hear a high pitch sound but I don't see anything coming out from the reservoir. Though, I'm not sure if this is relevant to E92 N46
  5. Hi team, I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, Is it the 6AZ (43nm) in the screen shot below?
  6. Thanks Eagle! Its exactly what I bought. In case someone needs a reference from Valvoline
  7. Thanks team! Appreciate it. Does anyone know what's the alternative part number for the ATF above? I rang BMW and they don't have it in stock and asked me to just buy one from Repco or Supercheap. But, none of these shops have the compatible ATF
  8. My power steering reservoir has a ATF yellow sticker on it written in japanese. Should I be using 81 22 9 400 272 rather than CHF 11S?
  9. Thanks! That's definitely the right one, I lifted my car today to confirm and it's a GM for sure In short DEX VI
  10. I'm getting mixed responses from realoem.com, supercheap, and repco to what is the correct ATF for my engine. Is there other places in the car to figure out if it's ZF or GM Trans without lifting the car? My car is a BMW 320i M Sport and below is the VIN. Thanks team! https://www.mdecoder.com/decode/wbawa520x0pg06544
  11. Turns out, I just need to keep turning the screw while using a flat screw driver to pop out the eccentric shaft gasket. I initially thought that the thread was screwed it like a helicoil. But BMW only used loctite to tighten the thread in the small opening on the valve cover. I've removed the old and crusted helicoil then added a loctite at the bottom and on the thread. I waited for 24 hours to cure and its done. Make sure it's just the medium strength loctite. If it's the red, you will never be able to fix the thread if it happens again because it will get fused on the plastic valve cover.
  12. I've over torqued the one of the screw on the N46T eccentric shaft sensor on the valve cover and now it's just turning any which way it goes. Any ideas how to fix it once I've take the valve cover out?
