  1. I can't seem to find anything about the race ca" version. The high-flow one is 200 cell, but it looks like the race cat version might be catless. I'm probably screwing up the terminology badly. I already tuned my car with Bootmod3, now moving into Stage 2+ territory with the downpipe and high pressure fuel pump.
  2. Hey Folks, I finally pulled the trigger on a VRSF downpipe on my F30 340i M-Sport, only to find out that the high-flow catted one isn't in stock for the rest of the year. Does anyone have insight into whether the race catted one will make me fail my WOF? Or are there any other considerations to take into account? The race catted one is cheaper too, so there's that, but I assume there must be some downside? Thanks Z
  3. Hi, yep, there's Prestige Motorsport in Seaview, that's where I got mine done.
  4. Totally worth it, the B58 engine is fantastic!
  5. Welcome, that's one gorgeous machine!
  6. Hi all Finally managed to get my 2017 F30 340i on the dyno this morning. Running Bootmod3 Stage 1 93 Octane map and XHP transmission flash, Stage 3, otherwise stock. I was genuinely surprised at the power generated here, considering that stock standard it's meant to have 240kW, 322HP and 450Nm. Now with a few software tweaks, it's got ~309kW, 414HP and 600Nm at the wheels. Incredible! Highly recommend Prestige Motorsport if you're in the Wellington region too, they were really accommodating and super nice guys.
  7. Just over a month of ownership, and easily the best car I've ever owned in terms of power, handling, comfort and just sheer enjoyment. Glorious.
  8. I am. Unfortunately I was busy with work during the last meet, but will do my best to attend the next one, thanks Jun!
  9. Stunning car, welcome to the world of BMW!
  10. Welcome, not sure if you read the rules, but you're only allowed BMWs if you want to be in this forum. Let us know once you've sold the Merc and we'll re-evaluate the situation. Jokes aside, that's great, two Bimmers and an ML63. Living the life! What do you do in Perth, if I may ask?
  11. Ah damn, I would have loved to be there, but work had other plans. Are the club activities updated frequently? I'd be keen to go to a meet.
  12. Just bought my BMW and I'd be keen to get a little boot lip spoiler, though the genuine ones seem to be hard to source. Anyone happen to know where I can buy one, or have one to sell? My car is mineral grey metallic (mineralgrau), in case that helps. Thank you Riaan
  13. Hi all Very pleased to find a NZ Bimmer community. I just purchased my first NZ Bimmer, a 2017 F30 340i M-Sport, after driving my Nissan Skyline 350GT Manual for about ten years. I previously owned a 1989 325i which I loved dearly, then a 1998 523i, then a 2001 530d and now, finally, my now-dream-car. I'm also originally from South Africa, and have lived here for 12+ years, now a Kiwi citizen. Very keen to peel back the layers on this car soon and get some more of the unexposed power brought to the surface. Hope to see you all out there. Riaan
