Are you still doing these? I have an appointment tomorrow with BMW Continental to hopefully clear and reset the memory(from what I have gathered through my research on other forums). The light came on when I removed my seats for a deep clean and INPA reports back internal error 240 along with other fault codes that "are no longer active". (BMW Z3 2000 1.9L straight-six)
These are the errors I translated from INPA:
- Seat occupancy detection
- Ignition circuit ZK2 Gurstrammer passenger
- MRSA front left
- Internal Control unit error
