I don’t know of any others, I’d be very keen to hear from anyone else trying though. It’s not a perfectly straightforward swap, especially in the right hand drive chassis. I’m looking to work out the exact orientation of the engine in the chassis. The diff input and centre support bearing are off centre and I’m not sure if the crank is also off centre or if something is angled to allow for this. I’ve experimented a bit but it’s doing my head in.

Hi All, I'm working on an N52 swap for my E30. It seemed like a good idea when the headgasket blew in the M20. Is there anyone with a stock E30 in the Rotorua area that wouldn't mind if I took a few measurements? There are a few things that I wish I'd worked out before I sold the original engine.
