I’m in Ireland and just bought a Japanese import. Had to change the country on the app in order to register on the my BMW app. I had to enter this code also. You have to go into connected drive on your panel in the car. Select menu, connected drive, messages and you should have a message there with your code on it. Hope this helps :)
