@elias yeah im looking into a 4:10 or bigger cause im turning this into a drag car....and possibly, as long as it looks ok, car has 210,xxx on it

@Eagle is there a way to tell for sure? Not questioning you, just how do you tell?

I have a 2001 325CI, it has a 188mm diff with a 3:15 gear, I'm trying to upgrade the ring and pinion and can not figure out if it's a 188, 188K or 188L. It's a open diff not a LSD. Iv called a bmw dealership and they were not able to help. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the 3 or what's the trick?
